Coaching in organisations

New accredited courses are being added to the Academy of Business Leaders’ repertoire - Level 5 Certificate and Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring programmes, issued by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM).
Coaching is a useful way of developing individuals' skills and abilities which leads to a boost in work performance. At its best, coaching addresses personal skills and development, as well as business and work skills. Coaching is about helping individuals build self-awareness, personal confidence and leadership ability, not simply teaching job skills.

The ILM Certificate and Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring programmes focus on the delivery of coaching or mentoring in the workplace. The programmes are ideal qualifications for managers with significant responsibility for coaching and mentoring as part of their day-today role or wish to learn how to demonstrate a more developmental leadership style with their team; learning and development/HR practitioners who have responsibility for acting in a coaching or mentoring capacity within the business; and learners planning to move into a development role or start a career as a freelance coach and mentor. Programme completion is between 10 - 14 months and all lectures are held between 17:00 till 20:00.
The Academy of Business Leaders is a joint venture between Business Leaders Malta and Mdina International Ltd, and is an approved centre of ILM and ISMM.
