With the Training Aid Framework 2 companies receive reimbursement for training costs for their employees
What is the Training Aid Framework (TAF2)?The Training Aid Framework 2015 (TAF2) is a scheme that allows companies or self-employed individuals to receive reimbursement for training costs for their employees. As part of the recent Malta Budget 2015, an allocation of €2.5 million was made to this initiative, which is in line with the Commission Regulation (EU) No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014. The TAF2 is an extension of the first Training Aid Framework which ended in June 2013. The Employment and Training Corporation (ETC) is the body responsible for managing applications.
Who can apply for the TAF2?This Training Aid Framework is open for companies (partnerships, family businesses, associations) or self-employed individuals and offers up to 70% reimbursement for training-related costs (depending on the size of the company).
