Build a Successful Sales Team

An organisation built on sales has no greater competitor advantage than an outstanding sales team which delivers results. The role of a successful sales manager is pivotal in making sure that these targets are actually achieved, leading to an overall revenue generation for the company. A crucial part in this equation is the continual development of the sales team.

It is commonly agreed that personal attributes such as character, beliefs, attitudes and flair are essential for a career in sales. However, a holistic salesperson also requires a number of skills. A good training program can help fine-tune these skills and transform a good salesperson to a great one.

The BLM Academy has just launched the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management’s Certificate in Sales and Marketing programme.
Targeting ambitious sales professionals and leading to a Malta Qualifications Framework Level 4 certification, the programme aims to increase the professionalism and ethical standards of the sales profession. This is the only accredited Sales & Marketing programme presently running in Malta.
Featuring five modules for a duration of only 4 months (from the end of September till January), the certification training infuses sales people with key skills including laws and ethics, preparing and delivering presentations, handling objections, negotiating and closing sales, understanding influences on buyer behaviour, and using market information.

The Institute of Sales and Marketing is the professional membership body for sales people with a mission to promote standards of excellence in sales and raise the status of the profession. Members include people who are just starting out in their sales career, to senior and experienced sales managers and directors.

The BLM Academy is a joint venture between Business Leaders (Malta), a company dedicated to supporting the business community keep up with the newest tools and information, and Mdina Partnership, a training consultancy company in Malta, the UK and Germany.

Mdina Partnership is licensed as a Further/Higher Education Institution with the National Commission for Further Education (Malta).
