Academy Sales and Administrative Executive

The Academy of Business Leaders is a dynamic Academy, offering accredited courses in leadership and management, human resources, employment law, and finance.   

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working and highly motivated individual to join our Academy’s sales and administrative team.  The successful candidate will represent the ethos and culture of the academy and act as a point of contact to students and tutors, and should therefore be very customer orientated and an excellent communicator.  

The successful applicant will work in a busy environment and be responsible for achieving sales targets, excellent customer service and managing and maintaining all aspects of the day-to-day running of the academy’s related sales and administrative tasks.  It is therefore expected that the chosen candidate is sales driven, highly organised, flexible, can work under pressure and can work as part of a committed and highly effective team.

Job Summary 

  • Achieving sales targets 
  • Participating in recruiting events, promotional activities and student induction sessions 
  • Conducting telephone and e-mail recruitment correspondence to prospective students
  • Generate prospective student lead-to-enrollment conversion 
  • Resolving academic issues for prospective and active students
  • Assisting students by being their main point of contact throughout their journey from registration to graduation
  • Tutor’s main point of contact with regards to lesson schedules and assignments
  • Managing all aspects of the student virtual learning platform 
  • Managing all aspects and ensuring that each step is documented for assignments
  • Issuing invoices and debtor chasing 
  • Maintaining Quality Assurance records
  • Monitoring stock, ordering consumables and responsible for the general maintenance of the Academy 
  • Ensuring that the Academy set-up according to standards before each lesson 
  • Preparing student feedback reports  
  • Managing calendar invites and scheduling of programmes
  • Assisting the Academy Director  
  • Perform other job-related duties as required

Education and Experience 

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English 
  • A good command of Maltese  
  • Two years’ experience in a sales or administrative role 
  • A keen interest in technology and online platforms is an asset  

Position Type:   

Academy Sales & Administrative Executive 

The successful candidate will work on a full-time basis from Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.  

Salary: €18-23K
